A Message From VANA President--Dr. Tri Pham

Dear fellow VANA members,

I am very honored and excited to be elected as President of VANA for the next two years (2013-2015). I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every of you for having the confidence and trust in me.

I strongly believe in VANA’s vision: VANA shall be the non-profit professional organization whose members comprise of nurses from many specialties, settings, and areas of practice, research, and education around the country. Members of VANA will be the leaders in patient care, research, education and prevention in their respective communities.

Over the past five years, VANA has been working hard toward our vision. However, we still have a long road ahead of us. We need to continue with our mission and vision. We need to recruit more active members. We need to create scholarships for deserving nursing students. We need to get more involved in local community. We need to serve more Vietnamese people through bigger and better health fairs. We need to organize fun activities for VANA members, guests, and their families. We need to design a more inter-active website. These are only some of many things that we need to accomplish over the next few years. With your help, guidance, and supports, and with me as your President I strongly believe that together we will achieve those goals and much more.

Best regards,

Dr. Tri Pham Ph.D., RN, ANP, AOCN, BC
